I first met Mr. Shiu when I was in primary 2. I joined an extra curricular activity about Go Culture at school where Mr. Shiu came and taught us. Mr. Shiu’s humorous teaching techniques and interesting lessons made me fell in love with Go Culture. I followed Mr. Shiu to The Hong Kong Children ‘s Go Academy and started to learn there. Mr. Shiu gave me many chances to attend competitions overseas or in main land China. I have been to Bei jing, Thailand, Shen Zhen, and many other places and have met lots of players in different countries. I gained many experiences on both Go Culture and talking with foreigners.
I want to thank Mr. Shiu for teaching me Go Culture and giving me so many chances. He never blame me for losing but only keep encouraging me to keep on facing the difficulties . Without him, I wouldn’t have been the person I am today. I also would like to thank Ms. Shiu for being so kind and taking care of me in every trip.
Hope more people will learn Go Culture at Hong Kong Children ‘s Go Academy so that they can also have the same experience I have had !
